Evening at Belfast Harbour Office raises £3,120.32
Brain Injury Matters are delighted to announce that their fundraising evening of music & history raised £3,120.32
Guests were delighted by the classical music showcased by members of the Belfast Youth Orchestra and James Patience and his daughter (both harpists). Guests enjoyed a wine reception courtesy of Winemark and were in awe of the architecture of the Belfast Harbour Commission.
Dr Éamon Phoenix (local historian and lecturer) fascinated guests with details of local history including the 1798 rebellion, United Irish Men, Wolfe Tone, The Battle of Saintfield and much more.
BBC broadcaster, Noel Thompson hosted the night and some lucky guests managed to win raffle prizes!
Brain Injury Matters were thrilled with the success of the night. The funds raised will assist staff in the delivery of free services for brain injury survivors throughout Northern Ireland.
