Disability Pride Belfast 2014
Hundreds gathered for Belfast’s inaugural Disability Pride carnival and family fun day on Saturday 20th September.
The sun was shining as the parade left Writer’s Square and made it’s way down Royal Avenue towards the City Hall.
Those that attended were treated to an open air concert, gourmet food and disability sports demonstrations.
Brain Injury Matters were among the 18 charities and support groups that took part in the event, hosted by the Lord Mayor, Nicola Mallon.
It is hoped that due to the success of this event, Disability Pride will become an annual event in Belfast.
