Celebrating Older Volunteers
Brain Injury Matters Volunteer Myrtle Matthews received a nomination for the Belfast City Council Older Volunteer Award.
The Older Volunteer Award celebrates the considerable contribution made my older volunteers (60 years and over) to the work of organisations and groups across the city. It also provides an opportunity for groups and organisations to promote and recognise the difference older volunteers and their volunteering make to the people and communities of Belfast.
The Older Volunteer of the Year Award Scheme has been running since 2011 and is supported by Volunteer Now.
Brain Injury Matters would like to take this opportunity to thank Myrtle for her continued support and help to the service users. Without volunteers like Myrtle, Brain Injury Matters would not be able to deliver its services to those that need them most.
